Meet The Physio

Mark Humphreys
BSc (HONS) Physiotherapy
BSc (HONS) Sport & Exercise Science
MCSP
Following the completion of a sport and exercise science degree in 1997, Mark spent several years working as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach with a range of athletes across a variety of sports. A growing interest in the management and treatment of injuries led Mark into a BSc (HONS) Physiotherapy degree, which he completed in 2003 at the University of Manchester.
Since then Mark has worked both in the NHS and in private practice, specialising in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic fields since 2005. Inevitably his own love of sport has led to Mark working in an area of special interest; junior athletes and in particular junior rugby players.
Providing the best level of evidence-based care and advice that is accessible to everyone and not just professional athletes is an ethos that Mark has strived to stick to throughout his career.
If you wish to arrange a consultation in person, Mark can be consulted at his private practice here.
